Then we got this nifty little toolbar and now we don’t have multiple pages open everywhere. This toolbar can almost go unnoticed much of the time but when you need information you are glad you have it. This is a valuable tool to have if you are trying to build link popularity because all of the back links of the website you visit can easily be displayed and you can email the webmaster simply because the contact information is listed in the toolbar as well. If you are shopping for something or you are trying to find the best internet marketing program you can easily compare many things because related sites are displayed in the toolbar too. Like we always say don’t just trust a sells letter. Do your research, and with the ConsultingClicks toolbar you can view customer reviews of a site at the touch of a button. It also lets the customers rank the site on a 5 point scale. You can even review the site yourself. If you hear other internet marketers talking out there about how well a site is doing then they will almost always refer to their Alexa rank. Now this information can be on top of every site that you view.

Read the full Internet Marketing Toolbar Review on our site.
If you already like what you have seen then feel free to download our toolbar for free.

Target Marketing: Who's Your Audience?

This is a problem that I see a lot in the online world as well as the offline. Some people think that the best way to market is to just have as many people as possible see your advertisement. While it is good to get exposure the problem with this is that some people simply don't want your product. If you think everyone can benefit from your product then that is just narrow minded. The key is to maximize the amount of time and money spent on advertisement that you know is going to convert. For example: A toy manufacturer advertises on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon rather than on CNN because they know that the kids that watch Cartoon Network are going to very likely to like toys while the adults that watch CNN are probable not going to have any use for toys. Even though a small percentage of those adults may see a toy that there kid may want and be nice enough to buy it for them the likelihood of a kid seeing a toy and bugging the crap out of the parents until they submit is much higher. Now this might all seem very basic but there are a lot of people that cannot specifically say who would want there product. My advice: write a small description of who is going to want your product somewhere that you can see it every day and live by it. You will save a ton in advertising dollars if you can remember that.

Email Marketing: When Does It Become Spam?

With all the focus these days on finding spammers and locking them up, it is important not to cross the line. The simplest way to avoid this problem is to only email to people that have agreed to receive emails from you. Also be very clear that they will be receiving mail on a regular basis. Also, don't over do it, I don't like to send to send out mail more than once or twice a month. Lastly, make sure that you are clear on how to stop receiving emails. What some people don't understand is that, if the person doesn't want your email then you are just wasting your time email marketing to them. Email marketing is a great way to get repeat exposure. Some say that people need to here about you at least seven times before you can judge if your product is going to convert. So use email marketing but also use common sense.

Google AdWords: The Land of Lost Dreams

Well I hate to be the one to break the bad news but Google has officially announced that it plans to no longer allow multiple affiliates to purchase AdWords that have no landing page. For starters most people are highly misinformed and misguided about how to go about starting an online business. The truth is that everyone on the internet is going to tell you that there help guide to internet marketing is the best. Why wouldn't they? They are the ones selling them. This is where we come in. I'm not going to sit back and say that some of us at ConsultingClicks.com aren't opinionated. But this is where we are different then most other websites. If you happen to browse some of the other sites out there you will almost always see one thing in common. There is one person that signs off on the review and its that persons word; the end. ConsultingClicks.com is made up of multiple internet marketing consultants the t all have an equal say. Trust me, we argue, but in the end we believe this multiple input approach adds up to a more honest review and an overall better website. Another reason that there isn't more people doing this is that they simply don't want to or they are too scared to do it. I know it may come as a shock but those people at work that complain about their job every day are actually too comfortable their predictable lives to make a change. There are many reasons that more people are not making it rich online but you are not one of them. How do I know that? You are reading this article right now and that means that you have already taken the first step. You want to learn, and unless you truly want to learn you will never make it in anything. By taking this first step you are already an internet marketer because that is all we spend our days doing. When you are ready to take the next step, come check out our list of internet marketing gurus. These people are already making it and the things they can teach you will change the way you look at the internet. Lately we have been especially interested in John Reese and his product Traffic Secrets. If there is one thing that I have learned in internet marketing it is that people are on the internet to get information. The Blog is your ultimate information tool. Somehow I find that it is easier to get out good content in the form of a blog rather than just adding things to a website. We would like to give our readers a little extra and that is why we decided to go with blogging. We at ConsultingClicks.com plan on using this space to give the readers of our site extra tips and valuable information they can use to start a business of their own. Here is a few things I wanted to say before ending this entry. First you may comment on any of the postings by clicking on the comments button and then clicking "Post a Comment". You may post by logging into your Blogger.com account or you may post anonymously by clicking the corresponding link below the login information. If you find something particularly interesting on here you may email it to someone by clicking on the little envelope at the bottom of each post. Now you may think the question is silly but can you honestly say that you enjoy waiting around for your site to perform? I know I hate to wait. One of my colleagues at ConsultingClicks.com practically has a love affair with link popularity, search engine optimization and PR ratings. The guy ought to have a computer devoted to Total Optimizer Pro, but as for me... Just talking about link popularity reminds me of a dental drill. Now I am not saying those things aren't important, that would be foolish, I just HATE waiting to get a site indexed. This is were Overture comes into play. If I want to I can have a huge flow of traffic comming in within the first five days a site goes up. Now this flow of traffic does come at a price, I will generally pay anywhere from 10 cents to 75 cents a click during the initial testing phase of a new idea. It sure beats waiting 3 months. I recommend you check out some literature about pay per click services before you dive right in.
